A 'zip' file can contain one or more files that are compressed together to save space (or bytes.) Some people refer to these compressed files as "zipped" files. The names of zip files usually end with ".zip".
A "zipped" file can be of no use to you unless you "unzip" or uncompress it first so as to extract the files that it contains.
In order to create 'zip' files or to unzip/uncompress existing 'zip' files, special software programs are needed.
Two of the most common software programs that you can use to "unzip" (uncompress/explode) these 'zipped' (compressed/imploded) files are PKZip and WinZip. Both of these programs can be downloaded from the Warrior download site.
You can also download the demo versions of either of these two zip/unzip programs from their respective websites which are given below:
For WinZip, go to:
http://www.winzip.com/ddchome.htm
For PKZip, go to:
http://www.pkware.com/download.html
Either of these two utilities should help you unzip all the zipped files at the Warrior site (the ones that end with .zip) or other zipped files that you may encounter anywhere else.
