How Do I Create My Own Electronic Books?

A great way to market information to your customers is to package them in the form of "electronic books" or "e-books." Most informational products available on the Internet are distributed in the form of e-books. It's quick, it's easy, and it's cheap!

You have some idea of how this process works - some of the books-on-disk available at the Warrior site are great examples of this method of packaging and product fulfillment.

Creating an e-book is not difficult at all. You just need the right "e-book creating software."

There are lots of good quality e-book creators out there to choose from. I've provided a list of the most common ones below. Some are distributed as freeware (absolutely free, no strings) and others are given out as shareware (usually a 30-day trial version - if you decide you like it, you can purchase it for a few dollars.)

Try a few of them out and then decide which one best suits your needs.

Most of the software titles listed above can be downloaded from any of these sites:

You can search for more software titles at the sites. Just use the logical keywords: ebook, e-book, electronic book, etc.
These sites are also great for almost any other type of software you may be looking for, including "Webpage Creators." Again, just use their search feature to find whatever you need.

When you have created your own software/e-book, you may want to list them at the above sites too. These sites get a lot of traffic and could very well expose your software to a lot of prospects.

It's fairly easy to learn to use some of these e-book software. However, if you're not too crazy about spending time learning another software, you can provide your information to others in text format using NotePad, WordPad, MS Word, WordPerfect, to name a few. (MS Word and WordPerfect also have the built-in capability to password-protect your documents.)

You can also offer your information in HTML format if you choose to do so. Here are some popular Web document creators:

These can also be downloaded from the sites listed above. (More can be found by searching for logical keywords: HTML, webpage creators, website creators, etc.)

Have fun creating!
